A new special video is out on the main TradeSmart channel in which I talk about the most important metrics you should focus on when checking your strategy’s backtest report.
In this video I go over the top 10 metrics I focus on like: profit factor, sortino ratio or max drawdown, explain what each of these metrics mean, what can they tell you about your strategy and what are my ideal value for each.
I also cover a few misconceptions like why winrate doesnt matter, why the biggest profit factor strategy might not be the best choice and so on.
Oh and I revel a metric that is not even inside the backtest report, but in my opinion it is one of the most important one.
